The journey, day by day

Day 1

Departure to Alaska · Arrival in Anchorage

International flight departure from Spain bound for Anchorage, typically via Seattle or a major North American gateway. On arrival, meet & greet and private transfer to the hotel. Anchorage combines adventurous spirit, mountainous landscapes and an immediate sense of vastness.

Day 2

Anchorage · Glaciers and wild nature

First private day of discovery in Alaska. Depending on the season and the desired pace, the day may include a scenic cruise, a panoramic route along Turnagain Arm or an experience over the glaciers by helicopter. The landscape surprises constantly: endless forests, snow-capped mountains even in summer, glacier rivers and wildlife appearing beside the road.

Day 3

Anchorage · Talkeetna · Heading to Denali

Departure to Talkeetna crossing some of the most scenic landscapes in the interior of Alaska. To elevate the journey, we recommend making this journey aboard the Alaska Railroad GoldStar Service, one of the most spectacular railway experiences in North America.

Day 4

Denali · Scenic flight and wilderness

Today you experience one of the great highlights of the trip: the scenic flight over Denali by light aircraft, ideally with a glacier landing if conditions allow. The sense of flying opposite the highest peak in North America is absolutely awe-inspiring. Immense glaciers, snow-capped ridges and inaccessible valleys create one of Alaska's most memorable images.

Day 5

Talkeetna · Seward · Fjords and ocean

Return south across Alaska, once again crossing mountainous landscapes and glacier valleys until arriving at the Kenai Peninsula. Arrival at Seward introduces an entirely different Alaska: fishing ports, mountains falling directly into the ocean and sailing between fjords.

Day 6

Kenai Fjords National Park · Whales and glaciers

A full day of premium sailing through Kenai Fjords National Park. During the crossing, glaciers descending to the sea appear, along with seabird colonies, sea lions, otters and, often, humpback whales or orcas. The contrast between dark ocean, blue ice and snow-covered mountains creates a profoundly striking landscape.

Day 7

Seward · Homer · The most remote Alaska

The route continues to Homer, one of the most fascinating regions in the south of Alaska. The landscape becomes more open and wild, with endless bays and mountains reflected in the water. Homer is also one of the best bases for bear watching and remote nature.

Day 8

Homer · Bear watching by light aircraft

Today, one of the most extraordinary experiences of the trip: a light-aircraft excursion to remote regions such as Katmai or Lake Clark for wild brown bear watching. The flight is spectacular in itself, flying over glaciers, volcanoes, rivers and wild coastlines.

Homer · Sailing and calm on the North Pacific

A more relaxed day to enjoy the surroundings of Homer and the lodge. The option of private sailing, kayaking between bays, scenic fishing or simply contemplating the landscape from the tranquillity of Tutka Bay. Day 10

Homer · Girdwood · Mountains and wellness

Return to the region of Girdwood, one of the most beautiful natural settings in southern Alaska. Here the landscape blends rainforests, snow-capped mountains and accessible glaciers. The day is designed to enjoy the surroundings at a calmer pace and to close the expedition elegantly.

Day 11

Girdwood · Anchorage · Last landscapes of Alaska

Final full day in Alaska. Depending on schedules and preferences, the option of an additional experience by helicopter, a glacier walk or a scenic cruise before returning to Anchorage. The afternoon is free to rest, do last-minute shopping or quietly enjoy the farewell of the trip.

Day 12

Anchorage · Return to Spain

Free time until the private transfer to the airport for the return flight to Spain. Alaska is left behind as a great modern expedition among extreme nature, wildlife and some of the most spectacular landscapes on the planet.
