The journey, day by day

Día 1

Arrival in Luxor · First night on the Nile

Arrival in Luxor, personalised assistance at the airport and private transfer to the hotel. Upper Egypt welcomes you with a different atmosphere: the Nile advancing in silence, the warm light on the palm trees and the desert insinuating itself on the other side of the shore.

Día 2

Luxor · Karnak iluminado y la grandeza del Alto Egypt

The morning is dedicated to a first private approach to Luxor. Accompanied by your Egyptologist, you will begin to understand the dimension of Thebes, ancient capital of the New Kingdom and one of the great spiritual centres of the pharaonic world.

Día 3

Luxor · Embarque in the Nilo · Karnak y Luxor

After breakfast, private transfer to the port to embark on your luxury navigation on the Nile. For this itinerary we recommend a high-level dahabiya if you are looking for a more intimate and exclusive experience, or a premium motorboat such as Sanctuary Nile Adventurer, Historia or similar if you prefer a more classic navigation with extensive services.

Día 4

Valley of the Kings · Hatshepsut, artisans and queens

The day delves into the western shore of Luxor, where the desert holds some of the most moving places in Ancient Egypt. The Valley of the Kings reveals rock-cut tombs, painted corridors and scenes from the Afterlife that retain surprising colours after thousands of years.

Día 5

Edfu and Kom Ombo · Temples between the river and the desert

As the navigation moves south, the Nile landscape becomes hypnotic: green fields, riverside villages, palm groves, children waving from the shore and the desert ever present in the distance. A visit to the Temple of Edfu allows you to discover one of the best preserved sanctuaries in Egypt, dedicated to the god Horus.

Día 6

Aswan · Philae, granite and felucca at sunset

Arrival in Aswan, perhaps the most serene city on the tour. Here the Nile opens between islands, granite rocks and white felucca sails that glide slowly over the water. The private visit includes the Temple of Philae, dedicated to Isis and located on an island, one of the most elegant and harmonious complexes in southern Egypt.

Día 7

Abu Simbel en avión · El templo before the desierto

After disembarkation, private transfer to Aswan airport to fly to Abu Simbel. Arrival in this remote enclave, next to Lake Nasser, is one of the most impressive moments of the trip. Afterwards, a tour of the Coptic neighbourhood, where ancient churches, alleys and places of worship show another essential layer of Egyptian history.

Día 10

Saqqara, Memphis and Dahshur · The origin of eternity
