Spanish history

Spain, layer upon layer

Luxury Atelier by Presstour designs bespoke cultural journeys through Spain from Madrid: an Al-Andalus route with a private Alhambra and the Mezquita of Córdoba at dawn, a boutique Camino de Santiago with stops at paradores and 5-star hotels, Madrid of the three cultures with private visits to the Prado and Reina Sofía, Toledo with a private closure of the Cathedral, or La Rioja with tastings at historic wineries.

Access to sites closed to the general public: a private flamenco tablao with artists such as Sara Baras, lunch at Andalusian haciendas, a classic-car route across Mallorca with an architecture specialist, a private dinner at El Escorial, a Don Quijote route with a Cervantes scholar. Combinable with European destinations. Indicative price from €5,500 per person for 7-9 nights.

Frequently asked questions

What people ask us

Is a luxury Spain trip worthwhile if I live here?

Absolutely. Spaniards are increasingly aware of their own heritage wealth. We design routes with surprising private access that locals themselves have never experienced.

Private visits to the Alhambra?

Yes, before it opens to the public (7:30-9:30) with an art historian. Also a private Sacromonte, the house of Federico García Lorca or a reserved tablao with cante jondo.

And for foreign visitors coming to Spain?

We handle it in Spanish, English or French. We look after Latin American and French clients who land in Madrid and book the whole peninsular route with us.
