Check-in at the airport and departure on an international flight to Uganda, typically via Dubai, Doha or Istanbul depending on the airline chosen. Overnight aboard. The journey begins by leaving Europe behind to venture into one of the most fascinating and least-explored regions of the African continent.
Arrival in Entebbe, VIP assistance and private transfer to the hotel. Uganda welcomes you with a tropical atmosphere, lush vegetation and the calm of Lake Victoria, the largest lake in Africa. Depending on your arrival time, we suggest a relaxed afternoon to recover from the trip or take a first walk beside the lake.
Hotel No.5 EntebbeDeparture by road to the north of the country, crossing villages, local markets and ever more open landscapes. The first major stop is Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where you take a walking safari to track white rhinos in the wild, a very special experience alongside expert rangers. After lunch, continuation to Murchison Falls National Park.
Nile Safari LodgeSafari at dawn on the northern bank of the park, one of the areas with the largest concentration of wildlife in the country. Elephants, Rothschild giraffes, buffalo, antelope and, with luck, lions or leopards appear across the golden plains while the sun begins to rise over the savanna. In the afternoon, private sail on the Nile to the base of the falls.
Transfer to the airstrip for an internal flight to the western region of Uganda. Arrival at Kibale brings a complete change of scenery: humid rainforests, green hills and volcanic lakes ringed with vegetation. In the afternoon, a private route through the crater lakes and small local communities, discovering a rural, elegant and profoundly authentic Uganda.
Ndali LodgeToday you will experience one of the great moments of the trip: chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest. Accompanied by expert rangers, you walk between huge tropical trees following the sounds of the chimps until you find them in the wild. The encounter is fascinating.
Departure to Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of East Africa's most varied parks. The route crosses open landscapes dominated by the Rwenzori range until arriving at the park's savannas. In the afternoon, private sail on the Kazinga Channel, probably Uganda's finest river wildlife experience.
Kyambura Gorge LodgePhotographic safari in Ishasha, famous for its tree-climbing lions, very unusual behaviour in Africa. The park's enormous fig trees offer some of Uganda's most iconic images. After the safari, continuation to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a World Heritage Site and one of the oldest ecosystems on the planet.
Clouds Mountain Gorilla LodgeVery early transfer to the visitor centre to start the gorilla trekking. After the rangers' briefing, you enter one of the continent's most impressive forests, following tracks, sounds and natural paths. The moment of encounter is difficult to describe.
Private transfer to the airstrip for return flights to Entebbe and international connection to Seychelles. On arrival in Mahé, private transfer to the resort and the beginning of the second half of the trip, dedicated to rest, the sea and absolute disconnection.
