Cultural journeys

What time does not erase

Luxury Atelier by Presstour designs bespoke luxury cultural journeys with professional specialists: egyptologists in Egypt, art historians in Italy and Flanders, anthropologists in Africa and Central Asia, scholars of Eastern spirituality in Japan and Bhutan, archaeologists in Peru and Mexico.

Privileged access to sites closed to the public: the Vatican Museums before opening, private palaces in Florence, temples not open to tourists in Bhutan, geisha houses in Kyoto. Private lectures with experts in each destination. Meals with local families who open their table. Pre-departure reading tailored to the trip. Indicative price from €7,500 per person.

Frequently asked questions

What people ask us

Who are your specialist guides?

PhDs in art history from Sapienza (Rome), egyptologists from the Egyptology Institute, anthropologists from the École des Hautes Études, Tibetan scholars from the Rubin Museum. Each destination with a recognised expert in the field.

Private access to the Sistine Chapel?

Yes, outside public hours. We handle it with the Vatican via our partners. Also the Borghese Gallery, Uffizi and many other Italian museums during private hours.

And for introverts who don't want a lot of guiding?

We design self-guided itineraries with tablets, audio guides and pre-trip documentation. The specialist only steps in at key moments (1-2 sessions per destination).
